Currently Eli spends the majority of his time managing all personal and business relations for HUMANS, Times Neue Roman, No Sinner, Colleen Rennison, Robert Bolton and most recently the Hybriity Music roster.
HISTORY
Eli Wener started in the music business booking bands in venues around the city including the Marine Club, Backstage Lounge and the Media Club. Seeing a void, Eli produced a series of all ages concert at Mesa Luna.
Later he took an internship with S.L. Feldman & Associates and studied Entertainment Business Management at the Art Institute of Vancouver.
Then in 2006 Eli booked his first speaking engagement with film director Spike Lee to be held at the Orpheum Theatre. After Spike did not fulfill his contract obligations. Eli and his business partner fully recouped their losses in a settlement with the talent.
In 2007 Eli learned how to scout, book and promote club acts during his two year, Thursday night residency at Lola’s Cabaret. In addition he promoted shows at the Red Room, Penthouse and The Royal Unicorn.
In 2008 Eli worked as tour manager for Sweatshop Union as well as handling their tour marketing.
He continued to produce and promote concerts and speaking engagements for events such as Code Live: 2010 Olympics, former Vice President Al Gore, New Forms Festival, Olio Festival, Dan Mangan, Brasstronaut, Hey Ocean, Bikini, Brother Ali, ?uestlove, Hannah Georgas, The Zolas, Apostle of Hustle and many more.
Recognizing an area that had been undeveloped, Eli acquired a Canadian talent roster and began independently licensing their music to video games, TV shows and multimedia including:

In 2012 Eli helped open Vancouver's newest music venue, Electric Owl taking on the Entertainment Director position.
Eli has participated in numerous music conferences and festivals including SXSW, CMW, Transmission: Global Summit, The Great Escape, TEDxVancouver, NXNE, Coachella, Sasquatch, POP Montreal, Juno Fest, WCMA's, Rifflandia and Burning Man.
Over the years Eli has donated his time to charity work sitting on the board and co-producing events for such organizations as the "JCC of Vancouver Sports Dinner", the "Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Society", "eatART Foundation" and "Ropka Canada".
